3 years back,while walking through the musical alley aimlessly,merely just to know the unknowns let me meet Soumyarya: I was the fierce-fan-of-his-blues musicianship at first, then he became a brother ,and later a great teacher to me. Living in a remote zone with amateurish hands in guitar ,i wasnt at all clear about the basics.As per my explanation of problems, he gave me the tips on what to do,what not to do,on how to do which made me brightly hopeful about playing the instrument, helped me shape some basics.The teaching he does holds ample significance for me. He breaks the lessons into single & simple form and signifies every lesson with a classic example. Soumyarya had been practising his guitar diligently while most of us were in school doing either little else or "studying". He found his calling unlike most of us a long time ago and has been dedicatedly playing the guitar for almost a decade if I am not mistaken. Because he is an understanding human being who is also patient, he is a great teacher as I am sure his students would vouch for. He is encouraging and patient and that's a combination I would recommend in any teacher.
