About Anthony
I believe I would be a great fit as a tutor as I have always done well in mathematics and understanding why things are happening. I am currently a 4.0 Computer Science student at UNCC with a minor in mathematics, so I know that I can explain and understand concepts well enough to teach them. I have been tutoring for years since my early teens so I have found an effective teaching method that works for all ages.

My teaching approach is a hybrid of hands on and hands off teaching, this allows the student to feel comfortable asking questions while also allowing them to solve problems on their own, which in turn increases their confidence and allows them to figure out how they learn best. What sets me apart as a tutor is my extensive background in more common mathematics but also more niche area such as operating research and also having previous experience teaching. A typical lesson plan may include helping with homework, studying for tests, or just clarifying any confusion. The lessons are for students of all levels from middle school to early college.
