About Alfie
I am currently a Computer Science student at the University of Manchester. I am looking to teach to both earn income on the side of my studies, but I have also poured a lot of time into researching different learning strategies and I feel I will ably apply these to teaching potential students of mine.

I will approach teaching through a method that I applied to my own studies, which will walk students through topics that they find particularly difficult by helping them to tackle problems. As maths is a subject I feel can only be learnt through practice, I will work with the student through questions rather than just telling them what to do. - I achieved 9's in maths and further maths GCSE, and got 100% in two of my papers - I achieved A*s in maths and further maths A-Level getting above 90% in my final exam.
