About Bradley
I have enjoyed and excelled in Maths throughout my educational journey, from primary school to achieving an A* at A Level, and am now studying Computer Science at the University of Edinburgh, where I am able to apply my mathematical skills to create software and solutions that help people and our world. To me, Maths is more than just numbers; it’s about unlocking new ways to think and tackle problems.
That’s why I want to share the mathematical confidence I have gained over the years to help others reach their potential. Working with my current and previous students and seeing each of them develop into confident mathematicians is something I find genuinely rewarding, and brings me so much joy.
I take my responsibilities as a tutor seriously. I communicate openly and consistently with students and parents to keep everyone updated, come to every lesson prepared with resources and confidence in the material I teach, and I work to ensure that every student feels supported and respected throughout. I am patient, reliable, and fully committed to helping you succeed.

I offer one-to-one Maths lessons typically lasting one hour (but I can adjust to your needs), tailored to students from KS2 through to GCSE and A Level, across Edexcel, AQA, and OCR exam boards. Whether you’re building foundational confidence, working towards GCSE, or pushing for top marks at A Level, I adapt my teaching to suit your way of learning and the goals that you want to achieve. I hold an A* in A Level Maths and am currently studying Computer Science at the University of Edinburgh, and have over a year’s experience tutoring across this range.
I know that Maths can be daunting sometimes, which is why I’m dedicated to teaching lessons that are fun, relatable, and enjoyable. I aim to create a supportive, pressure-free space where students are free to work at their own paces. No two students are the same, so I start with each student by getting a clear picture of their strengths, weaknesses, and targets, then plan personalised lessons that focus on giving help where it's needed the most. If a topic isn't clicking, I'll adapt on the spot and approach it from a different angle.
I believe learning should be active. I encourage students to talk through their thinking, attempt questions independently, and ask questions freely. Mistakes are part of the process, and we’ll always turn them into new learning opportunities. Each lesson will consist of me building foundations through step-by-step guidance, and handing the baton to the student where they can tackle worksheets and previous exam questions to apply what they learn, with me being there as a guide whenever they are stuck.
To track progress, I'll revisit past areas of struggle and keep records for each student so I can maintain an open conversation between me, the student, and their parents about how things are going.
Seeing genuine improvement is one of the most rewarding aspects of tutoring for me, and I want you to feel a sense of progress in every lesson, no matter how big or small.
