About Lauren
I am a passionate Computer Science teacher currently teaching OCR GCSE Computer Science, Cambridge Technicals ICT Level 3, and Computer Science KS3. I have previous experience teaching KS3 Maths and tutoring KS2 Numeracy and Literacy.
I hold a BSc Hons in Computing from Bournemouth University, and a PGCE from University College London (UCL). I gain Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) through a School Centred Teacher Training route into teaching.
My approach in the classroom is centred around building rapport with young people and delivering schemes of work in an engaging way that is accessible to all.
During my time away from formal education I enjoy partaking in different activities. I have spent 3 separate summers in USA teaching horseback at summer camps.
