About Chimdi
Hi there! I'm currently a Cybersecurity PhD student at UCL, offering private tuition from 11+ all the way to A-Level students - focusing mainly on Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Computing.
Whilst every student is different, I always aim to tailor my approach to learning by contextualising the subject knowledge to something familiar to them - making recall and understanding much easier both in assessments and in practical applications.
I have a MEng in Materials Science and Engineering from Imperial College London, and have worked as a network engineer at a tech company prior to beginning my PhD research.

I focus mainly on students from 8 to 18, and have past experience with 11+ and GCSE tutoring. I also aid with private school/UCAS applications and interview prep.
Each lesson plan is structured around each individual student's needs - the first session is two hours, over which I assess the student's current level, hear their personal strengths and difficulties, and agree with the student (and their guardian) targets and a structure for future sessions.
While my focus is on Maths and the sciences, I can additionally aid students in their studies for other subjects, such I have done for GCSE Business Studies and History.
