About Aydan
I'm a machine learning computer scientist, and I've been tutoring part-time for over a decade because of my love of teaching maths. I believe maths and programming are a fundamental skill for everyone, and can be very engaging if taught in the right way.
I aim to encourage students to take an active role in their learning: identifying their areas of strength and weakness, what motivates them, what they wish to be able to do. I believe that the approach to teaching difficult subject matter must be tailored to an individual students' learning styles.

Lessons are conducted online using Zoom. GCSE and A Level lessons follow the syllabus of each individual student. For other years, on top of following the syllabus, I like to engage students by considering wider topics and applications of maths and sciences.
