About Chavoux
Hi,
If you have some so far, you are interested in my help to tutor you in one of the subjects of my expertise. I can promise a wealth of background knowledge and the practical applications of what you learn.
I worked for a number of years as a professional computer programmer and software engineer, before starting a career as an ecologist. During this time I developed embedded programs for small hardware devices, client-server desktop programs using PostgreSQL databases, desktop control programs for talking to various embedded devices and web applications using C#.NET and MS SQL Server and Oracle DBMS's.
I firmly believe that programming is a practical skill, rather than a theoretical academic field. Studying is ultimately not about passing exams and qualifications, but about the knowledge and skills we gain in the process. And for that, I am willing to be your mentor, tutor and partner.
