About Marie
My name is Marie and I'm so excited to help you on your English learning journey! I am a TEFL-certified tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I currently work in Cyber Security while also studying for a Master's degree in Cyber Security. I have a strong passion for teaching and one day hope to become a university professor. I also enjoy volunteering to help young people improve their English skills and discover their career paths. In my free time, I love to read. I grew up reading novels at school, competing in spelling bee competitions, and have a 'love of language,' which inspires me to share my knowledge in English with others.

My lessons are built around a conversational approach, focusing on real-life communication, everyday vocabulary and practical English. I encourage students to practice speaking and listening in a way that feels easy and engaging.
I am a TEFL-certified English tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I also have hands-on experience tutoring students in their TAFE studies and preparing for the Australian Citizenship test. Through these experiences, I learned to support learners with different goals, whether academic, professional or personal.
I offer flexible lessons of 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on students' needs.
My lessons are ideal for beginners who are just starting their English learning, children who want to learn English, and adults who want to learn English casually for everyday conversations, travel and also in the business context.
