About Max
I am a determined, organised and logical student at the University of Bath, studying for a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics. As an imaginative thinker who takes a visual approach to problem solving, I can give many alternative viewpoints to problems.
I was a tutor during my A Levels to both my peers and younger students. From this experience I learnt how to explain and listen to others in an effective manner.

From personal experience, I believe that where possible it is much more valuable to understand the underlying reason as to why something happens or appears over just accepting it for fact. I always try to introduce new ideas by building upon and linking to existing ones. This way we can reduce something down to a collection of more fundemental concepts which we can apply to a larger range of problems.
As a software developer, I love to incorporate computational visualisations into my tutoring as much as possible so that students can see how something is applied - visualisation is a powerful tool which can help digest a complex idea.
