About Wendy
My journey into programming began when I discovered how powerful it felt to create working systems from simple lines of code. This passion led me to earn a B.Sc in Computer Engineering and later an M.Sc in Applied Software Architecture, where I studied both technical depth and real-world software design. Over the past 12 years, I have helped students grow from beginners into confident programmers through patient and structured guidance.
I believe the best teaching comes from clarity and encouragement. I focus on explaining not only how code works, but why it works, helping learners build strong mental models. I support students in learning at their own pace, celebrating progress step by step.
Outside tutoring, I remain actively engaged with programming through personal development projects, new technology exploration, and continuous learning. Teaching programming is meaningful because it gives students one of the most empowering modern skills: the ability to build, create, and solve problems independently.

Programming becomes exciting when students realize it is a creative skill built from logical steps, not something mysterious or unreachable. My lessons focus on building strong foundations in Python, Java, structured problem solving, algorithms, data structures, and clean coding habits. I create a supportive environment where learners feel comfortable experimenting, making mistakes, and gradually developing confidence through practice.
Lesson plans are always tailored to each learner’s level. Beginners start with variables, loops, conditionals, and simple programs that build comfort with logic. Intermediate students strengthen skills in object-oriented programming, debugging strategies, modular design, and building larger projects. Advanced learners explore algorithm optimization, software architecture, APIs, interview preparation, and real-world project workflows. Each class includes hands-on coding, reasoning guidance, and detailed correction support.
Programming lessons also build life-changing thinking skills. Students develop patience, structured reasoning, creativity, and resilience in problem solving. Many learners become excited when they see their own ideas come alive through code. My goal is to help students feel empowered to explore technology confidently and build solutions that matter.
