About Lee
I care about rigor and understanding as opposed to rote memorization. As a result, whatever I say as a teacher needs to be backed up by proof and intuition, and I'm always happy to give it. Indeed, I don't know everything, but I can assure you that I will come back with the right answer next time. I hope to not simply teach you formulas, but the ability to derive them yourself and know when to apply them.

I typically start with homework/assignments and probe the students knowledge of the material. If roadblocks are met, then I will go over the fundamentals and ensure the student understands every step. I encourage a Socratic method to further deepen the level of comprehension. If the student doesn't have an assignment, I will typically give them a challenging problem that tests their knowledge, or gives a lecture on new material.
