About Nora
I hold a Master’s Degree in Piano Pedagogy and have 11 years of experience teaching piano to students of various ages and skill levels. My academic training focused on effective teaching strategies, advanced performance techniques, and music theory analysis. Throughout my career, I have guided beginners learning basic skills as well as advanced students preparing for formal recitals and examinations.
My teaching approach combines structure with encouragement. I believe that students progress best when lessons are organized and goals are clearly defined. Many learners appreciate my calm explanations and patient demonstrations. I take time to understand each student’s strengths and challenges so I can design lessons that support steady growth. Building self-confidence is just as important as building technical skill in my teaching philosophy.
Beyond the classroom, I continue practicing challenging repertoire and studying new educational methods to refine my skills. Staying active as a musician allows me to bring practical insight into each lesson. Watching students transform into confident and expressive performers gives me great satisfaction. My long-term goal is to inspire discipline, creativity, and lifelong passion for piano music in every learner I teach.

My piano lessons are carefully structured to create strong technical control while developing musical understanding. We begin by focusing on proper seating position, relaxed shoulders, and balanced hand posture. I guide students through finger exercises that improve coordination and independence. Early lessons include note reading practice that teaches pattern recognition instead of simple memorization. Rhythm development is strengthened through counting exercises and steady metronome work. Each session starts with warm-ups designed to prepare both hands and improve focus before moving into piece study.
As students progress, we work on scale fluency, arpeggios, and chord transitions. I explain music theory concepts in simple language so learners understand the structure behind the notes. Expression is developed through dynamics, articulation practice, and phrasing discussions. For performance preparation, we practice complete run-throughs and simulate recital conditions to build confidence. I also provide structured home practice plans that help students improve efficiently and consistently.
My goal is to develop pianists who are confident, disciplined, and expressive. I offer detailed guidance while maintaining a positive and motivating atmosphere. Over time, students strengthen technical accuracy, musical awareness, and stage confidence. I aim to help each learner build lasting skills and a deep appreciation for piano performance.
