About Abigail
I am trained in elementary and middle school teaching with an emphasis on restorative justice. I have also been a tutor with the TRIO Upward Bound program at Truman State for 4 years. In addition to my certifications, I am a life long learner and try to instill that in all my students. I firmly belive everyone can learn anything, we just need to find the right avenue to learn and teach.

I am a certified teacher in Missouri, currently completing my internship for my Master's degree. I am up to date on all current teaching and tutoring research and pedagogy. I am certified to teach elementary and middle school. However, I have the background to tutor middle school or high school math, English, social studies, and college/test prep. Tutoring sessions will include small amounts of direct instruction, with the majority of the session being guided practice. I focus on creating engaging and "fun" activities to encourage all students to be life ling learners.
