About Olivia
19 years old, Bristol based. I have access to resources across AQA, Edexcell and OCR exam boards for specific subjects. Can provide useful workbooks, some notes and question packs for A-Level. I’m a qualified sports coach so have lots of teaching experience and have worked with ages 3 to 18.
I will be heading to University in September to study International Business.
I repeated a year at A-Level due to illness so have a very thorough knowledge of the process and content of my subjects at A-Level. I also believe this gave me a more mature approach to my studies and I am up to date with the demands of the newly reformed A-Levels.
I have had a few tutors since GCSE and felt this benefited me by giving me confidence and getting me ahead so I felt prepared for the next year/ rest of the course, as well as really secure on the content covered already.
At GCSE level I took: iGCSE triple Science, English, Maths, Religious Studies, History, French and Latin and obtained A* to B grades.

My approach is to build confidence, primarily, to tackle exam technique and work on a thorough understanding. This comes from being taught by an Oxford Biochemist for 5 years, who instilled confidence in me and helped me develop a deep understanding of my subject (Biology). I was an A* A-Level student in all 3 subjects by the end of 3 years of A-Level study, however I got there by learning to overcome challenges so am able to explain topics well and hopefully pass on the exam/ study skills I have learnt, as well as the knowledge.
I have used a range of techniques over the years and understand that each student learns differently, so can deliver lessons in a variety of ways to suit, (ie. using videos, practice questions, lecture-style, etc.).
