About Ami
Hiya! My name is Ami, I am 18 and have recently completed my A Levels (achieved A*AA in biology, chemistry and maths). This is my first time using a tutoring platform to offer services. I have been tutoring in school since year 9 and I'm always been happy to help my peers! While gaining new experiences along the way, my main goal is to help students reach their full potential by sharing the revision techniques I've found useful and efficient, hopefully making the process of learning new concepts a bit easier!️ I am passionate about teaching and I feel that tutoring is a great way to give and also receive knowledge in multiple ways! Securing 4 medschool interviews and 3 offers, I would love to give advice and notes on medschool interview prep and the approach to take as it can feel unfamiliar. I hope to help students feel more comfortable with answering difficult questions and responding to scenarios in the most structured and cohesive manner, making sure they showcase their best qualities!

Having recently finished my A Levels, I would like to help students in consolidating any skills required in the subject, allowing them to be more confident for their exams! I have tutored younger years and peers at my school in the past helping them to understand questions by dissection and building on basic skills. My main method consists of using practice questions (especially past paper questions) so that students can become more familiar in approach and application of the required skills. I am able to adapt to different ways that students revise such as using mnemonics and diagrams or encourage them to find the best way that they learn by sharing some of my own tips! Through some help, a few of my peers have improved from grade 6 to a grade 8 in maths GCSE. Regarding medical school interview prep, I aim to simulate scenarios and the full experience as realistically as possible, giving students time, encouragement and advice on how to develop their answers to ensure they can convey their ideas and ambitions in a clear and cohesive manner. I hope to make students feel confident in their answers, and feel their best on the day of the interview to give them the best possible chance of becoming a wonderful contribution to healthcare.
