About Grace
I am currently in my final year of studying maths at the University of York, having completed A-Level Mathematics two years ago.
I have always had a passion for the maths taught in the classroom, and aim to complete my degree and gain a teaching qualification.
I am enthusiastic about my subject and want to share this with those who want some extra help with their studies.
Although I love maths, I do also recognise that it can be tough. Only through learning maths myself have I gained a true understanding of how maths can challenge pupils. Using my firsthand knowledge to help other students is what I want to do most!

I hope to encourage students to build more confidence in their maths ability so they are able to tackle questions at (and beyond) the level that they wish to reach.
To help the student work towards their end goal, I like to use interactive questions and software, as well as plenty of practice questions to make the student familiar with the way that maths is assessed by their exam board.
Lessons can be 1-2 hours long depending on how frequently they are needed.
While studying for my A-Levels, I tutored Year 11 students at my old secondary school. As a student myself, I hope my continued involvement with maths at degree level helps with grounding my approach to teaching.
