About Helena
I’m a dedicated maths tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. Having achieved high results in maths myself, I understand both the challenges students face and the most effective ways to overcome them. What motivated me to start tutoring was seeing how many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because concepts aren’t explained in a way that makes sense to them.
I specialise in breaking down complex topics into simple, clear steps and helping students build confidence alongside skill. My approach focuses on understanding, not memorisation, so students can apply what they learn in any exam setting. I take pride in adapting to each student’s needs and making maths feel more approachable, manageable, and even enjoyable.
