About Shalini
I’m an experienced tutor and for sure will help the student get the help they need in different levels of math. I’ll make sure that the student leaves being confident with what they learned that day. I’ll also provide them with worksheets in case they’re still hesitant on the subject. My main goal is for students to be confident in what they’ve learned.

My teaching methods include using visual aid, real life examples, and guided practice. I’m able to adapt my teaching style based on the student’s best learning strategy. I usually start with a warm up to see what the student knows, then move on to a lesson introduction. After that, I’ll guide the student on how to do 2-3 problems then make them try it on the own. I’ll review their answers as they go and provide them with instant feedback. In the end, I’ll recap and go over questions the student struggled with. I will allow the student to explain their thought process on how they approach a problem rather than forcing a way to do the problem on them.
