About Diana
My passion for academia has led me to always strive to gain every opportunity that the equalizer of education offers, and simultaneously help others to do the same. I have been tutoring children from ages 4-18 for the past 6 years. Initially, helping first-generation immigrant children with phonics, maths, etc, through individual one-to-one sessions or the homework club I ran weekly. I ensured that my students would feel prioritized and valued in the classroom and in return they each helped me grow as a tutor.

My student's success is my top priority. From 2021-2022 I tutored multiple students in GCSE English Literature and Language. More than half began our sessions with little hope of passing their final exam. However, by praising their strengths and addressing their weaknesses to create efficient revision plans, they were able to excel in their final exams exceeding their predicted grades.
I also specialize in tutoring A Level students in the subjects of English Literature and History, my students walk away from our sessions with an excellent exam technique that aids them in confidently addressing any essay question. Having sat these exams myself I understand not only the revision and exam techniques that help candidates access the A*s but I can also recognize the mistakes which cap students at average grades.
Equally, I have a background in preparing students for the 11+ exams (English, Maths, Reasoning) guiding them through the daunting grammar school entrance process ensuring they are as confident as possible through my attentive and patient teaching style. I believe that the key to excelling in education is simply understanding your potential, and I strive to aid my students in gaining every opportunity possible.
