About Maurizio
I am a Master student who has been in the language learning industry for 6 years. I have worked for an e-learning company for a year and a half in Glasgow and I want to broaden my tutoring experience after working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Guelph, Canada for a year.
I have completed my BA(Hons) in French, Journalism and Creative Writing at the University of Strathclyde in 2018. I am currently finishing my MA in Comparative Literature, which gave me the opportunity to study in three international universities - Université de Perpignan "Via Domitia" (Perpignan, France), University of Guelph (Guelph, Canada), and Univerdidade NOVA de Lisboa (Lisbon, Portugal).

My teaching method is heavily based on conversation and grammar exercises. I try to make my classes as relaxed and informal as possible to make the students feel comfortable about practicing a foreign language. I use video and songs for listening comprehension, and I ask my students to write small texts to practice written expression. I am flexible and I can adapt my classes according to the student’s needs and interests.
