About Anna
My name is Anna Miller, and I come from a small farm near Dunedin. Now based in Wellington, I’m completing my Communication Studies degree and plan to pursue a teaching diploma. As an autistic tutor, I bring empathy, structure, and creativity to my lessons. My love for learning was rekindled in high school by inspiring teachers who showed me that education is not just about achievement, but curiosity and connection. I aim to share that same joy with my students, helping them build confidence, find their voice, and rediscover the excitement of learning.

I tutor primary and secondary students in English, offering one-hour lessons that are collaborative, structured, and tailored to each learner’s needs. Drawing on six months’ professional experience, I create personalised lesson plans with clear learning goals, regular progress reviews, and adaptive strategies. My sessions combine reading, writing, and discussion-based activities to build confidence and comprehension.
