About Lottie
I am currently working as a Commercial Contract Paralegal at a global law firm, having recently completed my Undergraduate Law Degree and a Masters Degree in Legal Practice.
While my career has taken me into law, my love for English has always stayed with me. I really enjoyed the topics we covered at GCSE and A Level, and I still find analysing texts and exploring ideas just as interesting today.
I understand how challenging English can sometimes feel, but also how rewarding it is when things start to click. I aim to create a supportive and relaxed environment where students can build confidence, improve their skills, and hopefully start to enjoy the subject a bit more too!

I take a supportive and structured approach to tutoring, focusing on building confidence alongside strong exam skills. My lessons break difficult concepts into manageable steps and teach students clear techniques they can apply independently.
For English Literature, I help students analyse texts such as Shakespeare and poetry by identifying themes, patterns, and language techniques, while improving essay structure and exam responses. For English Language, I focus on practical writing methods, showing students how to improve through vocabulary, sentence structure, punctuation, and exam technique.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and tailored to each student’s needs and ability level. I tutor secondary school, GCSE, and A-Level students, helping them improve both confidence and grades in English.
