About Tamryn
I am a TVET college lecturer, and one of the subjects I teach is Communication, which is similar to high school English. The subject covers a range of outcomes, including concepts of communication, language skills, formal writing, journalism, poetry, and comprehension. I work mainly with English second-language learners and enjoy keeping lessons clear and accessible. I focus on building from what learners already know and gradually guiding them towards new knowledge and skills.

I am passionate about education and firmly believe that learners need a healthy balance between work and play. I begin each lesson by identifying learners’ needs and assessing their current level of understanding. This allows me to start at the appropriate point and guide them effectively towards achieving their learning goals.
