About Shani
Hello! My name is Shani and I am a Chemistry and Math double major at Amherst College, a highly ranked liberal arts college in Massachusetts, who loves to read, play the guitar, and make art. I was a very dedicated and driven high school student with interests in neurobiology, mathematics, and criminal justice and have continued to pursue those and find new passions in college. With years of tutoring experience in a variety of subjects (from math to languages) and with students of various ages, I am a flexible, adaptable, and determined teacher. I am very well-prepared to push your high schooler to the best of their abilities as they embark on their standardized testing journey.

I offer weekly remote sessions in which we will make our way through official study guides, practice questions, and diagnostic/practice tests, all while tracking your student's quantifiable progress. I can help your student determine whether they are better suited for the SAT or ACT and begin the studying process from there. My own self-studying and dedication paid off in a perfect score of 36 on the ACT, and I look forward to sharing my tips and tricks to help your student reach their full potential and put their best forward as they start the college application process.
