About Elle
At 17, my passion for working with students has set me on an accelerated path to attaining my teaching credential. I am currently attending Clatsop Community College to fulfill my general education requirements towards my bachelor’s degree in childhood education. I have been volunteering in elementary school classrooms for over five years. I've learned fun ways to engage and reach students I’ve worked with. I also worked with students who struggle in a particular academic subject i.e reading, writing, and biology. I am also currently employed with Warrenton-Hammond School District as a Preschool Assistant, but unfortunately, the COVID-19 outbreak has caused schools to temporarily close. Still, I am highly motivated to help and educate kids especially in this time of uncertainty.

I have tutored students in subjects such as language arts, mathematics, and biology. I encourage curiosity, questions, and out of the box thinking. In my time in the classroom, I hope to motivate excite and encourage students’ sense of wonderment throughout the curricula. Working with kids from diverse backgrounds has taught me the importance of differentiation and how essential providing a comfortable, safe, and supportive space is for student success.
