About Ariya
I have been helping kids with ACT prep for almost a year now - both through PEL Learning Center and school. I’ve seen my kids grow from a 7 to an 11 on the ACT essay, and my most recent student grew from a 26 composite to his goal of a 31. I’ve also taken 5 years of math courses at my high school, and have helped many of my students pass their algebra, trigonometry, and geometry tests.

I give lessons to everyone - from middle schoolers ready to get a head start to high school seniors wanting to get into their dream college. Ages 10-17 are ideal. Typically, my ACT classes begin with quick drills based on the preferred subject of study. We work on speed, accuracy, and the ability to catch one’s errors. This method enables the student to understand the settings of a real life testing environment while also helping them catch mistakes before they take the actual test. I use approved textbooks and mimic test settings to give my students an authentic testing experience. I make sure to go over every incorrect answer, make a note of any patterns, and reteach them the topic until they understand.
