About Katherine
I am a psychology major on the pre-med track. As you might think, there is not a lot of overlap between requirements for the two fields, so I have advanced knowledge in the four main realms of modern education: science, social studies, math, and english, as well as test prep. I am highly dedicated to my goals and my students and feel that with enough practice and hard work, almost anything is learnable (except for the clarinet - that did not go well:).

I believe that an approach individualized to each student increases understanding. As such, I do not have a “typical lesson plan”. In general, I would start with a quick refresh of previously covered content before jumping in on some guided practice. Before we end, I would have some individualized practice followed up by some practice problems for throughout the week. I have over five years of experience in tutoring. Though math is my jam, I am also qualified to tutor in english, social studies, test prep, and science through high school levels.
