About Tristan
Throughout high school I took many dual credit college level classes to prepare and get ahead on college. I graduated high school with a 3.98 GPA and have gone on to retain a 3.5 GPA during my Associate of Science degree program. I plan to major and obtain a PhD in Biochemistry before becoming a cancer research scientist at a university. I am a very kind and down-to-earth guy that simply wants to help others understand certain STEM field subjects. Keep in mind, I am not a professor with 20 years of experience. That being said, I don’t plan to treat you as a professor would; We are both students interested in STEM subjects (which are extremely hard at times) and I will treat you as my equal. After all, I am here to help you learn what you feel you need/want, and you will simultaneously be helping me to become a better tutor.

My lessons will contain a small lecture portion to explain the basics and prerequisites for what we will be discussing, learning, practicing, and/or recapping during the session. Since I believe that experience is the best form of learning, a majority of the session will be more for practice problems/scenarios and questions that target the particular needs of the tutee.
