About Emilce
Hi! I’m a patient and dedicated English tutor who enjoys helping students feel more confident in their skills. I believe learning should feel supportive and not stressful, and I aim to create a comfortable space where students can ask questions and improve at their own pace.
I focus on English learning, including reading, writing, grammar, essay writing, literacy skills, and ACT/test preparation. I earned a perfect score on the ACT English section, which I use to help students understand the test, improve their strategies, and feel more confident on exam day. I adapt my lessons to each student’s level and goals, whether they are learning English, improving school performance, or preparing for standardized tests.
My goal is to make English feel clearer and more approachable while helping students build real confidence over time.

My approach as a tutor is to create a welcoming and personalized learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, practicing, and improving their skills. I focus on helping students strengthen their English through reading comprehension, writing, grammar, communication, and test preparation using clear explanations, practice activities, and personalized feedback.
A typical lesson begins by understanding the student’s goals, current level, and areas they want to improve. We review concepts, work through examples together, practice skills with guided exercises, and develop strategies that students can use to continue improving independently.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience, adaptability, and commitment to helping each student learn in a way that works best for them. I believe students improve when they understand the material and feel confident applying what they learn.
My lessons are for learners of all ages and levels, from elementary students building literacy skills, to middle and high school students needing help with English, writing, essays, and ACT preparation, as well as adults who want to improve their English communication skills.
