About Marina
I have been teaching for approximately 5 years, not including my teaching during my doctoral program. As an instructor, it is my goal to implement a learner-centered environment in which students can practice the language with absolutely no fear. In teaching at liberal arts colleges, I have found that personalized education is a great way to have students engage with the language and thus learn it effectively.

As a teacher, I ensure to have an active learning approach to teaching. I aim for the students to obtain a solid understanding of the material, whether it be grammar or vocabulary focused. I also make it a point to review any concepts that they need to be familiar with before tackling a new lesson.
