About Albert
I have taught Introductory and advanced physics courses at the college level for over 25 years. I have also taught some courses in Mathematics (Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Numerical Analysis, and Applied Mathematics) I have done a lot of tutoring in Introductory physics, Mathematics (Pre-Calculus, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Basic Math ) and physical science at the college level for over 25 years. I have also done tutoring in science (mainly Physics and Physical Science) and Mathematics at the pre-college level. Most of the students I have tutored have done better on their quizzes and tests. I really love tutoring because working one one-on-one with students can be a great experience and rewarding in a way that being in front of several students in a lecture just isn't

In all my years of teaching students at various levels, several essential themes for effective teaching have come to light. In light of this, I aim to bring my knowledge of teaching to help students experience the world more richly, beyond the world of text books and inert facts, by guiding and supporting them towards becoming reflective practitioners, collaborative thinkers, effective communicators and persons who appreciate diverse subject matters. Convinced about the viability of this approach, my courses in Physics and Mathematics are all occasions to develop these themes with different foci and varying levels of sophistication. Under this setting, as I teach students, I still teach teachers and myself.
