About Mika
I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Microbiology with minors in Chemistry and Spanish. I have been learning Spanish for 8 years and enjoy listening to Spanish music and speaking Spanish to my friends who can also speak the language.

I approach an oral expression class through teaching via conversation. I believe casual conversation in a different language is crucial to learning the language as it should be spoken because this is the way that a lot of native English speakers learn English. This is the way that I began learning Spanish myself, as well.
