About Andy
I live and work in the Financial Industry in Brighton with my wife Zoe who's a catering entrepreneur, we have a 25-year-old son who is a computer programmer in London and we have a 3-year-old Birman cat whose name is Lola. -My hobbies are camping, swimming and I'm a fan of Stephen King and Philip K. Dick novels.

-I focus on an inductive approach to teach maths as opposed to a deductive approach. In other words my method is “Bottom-up” (we start from the building blocks which the student can grasp, all the way up to the overall concept) as opposed to “Top-down” (trying to push the big idea into the student's head from the start). -I’m happy to work in 1hr chunks and I could easily work up to 2hrs back to back if necessary. -I studied statistical maths at University for a degree in Business Accounting and I work in Bonds Investments and Pensions for Legal & General in Brighton. I’ve been doing private tutoring since 2020 and I can teach all the way from up to GCSE levels.
