My journey into the world of tutoring began as a high school math tutor who at the age of 16, was looking for a side hustle, and I've always held a special place in my heart for the transformative power of education. Having walked in your shoes, I understand the unique challenges and opportunities that students face, and I'm committed to making your learning experience as enriching as possible.
But that's not all - I'm not just an administrator. In fact, I used to own a tutoring business before my role as dean, where I honed my tutoring skills to a fine point. Algebra is a subject I'm particularly passionate about, and I've helped countless students unravel its mysteries and unlock their potential.

My approach to learning is out of the box. What I mean by that is I use relevant examples to break down math concepts and make math easy to understand.
I was also a middle school teacher for 8.5 years so I also know how important it is to make learning fun and how to transform a daunting math experience into something that you conquer with confidence. I also teach at the college level so I know how to tailor my instructional approach to meet the needs of the student that I am working with.
A typical lesson plan...honestly, it depends on the student. My lesson plans are as unique as my students. For example, I provided one of my students with an example that reflected the dating issues that student was having...and the student got an A on their exam!!!
I love what I do and it will show through my teaching.
