About Zainab
As a current undergraduate biology student and future Physician Assistant, my unwavering passion for the sciences does not only lie in this specific area. Ever since I was 6 years old, I competed in math competitions at Princeton University which aided me in skipping two grades in math and helping me score above 90th percentile on the SAT math section. Since then, I have tutored students of all ages and backgrounds in a variety of K-8 subjects all the way through college leveled sciences and essay editing. With several years of tutoring experience, I have realized that patience, diligence, and reinforcement are the key kills necessary for a successful outcome. Through humor, consistency, and simplification of concepts, I help students work step-by-step and guarantee mastery in those areas. So whether you are a 3rd grade student struggling with equivalent fractions or a college student brainstorming a thesis for your philosophy paper, I will help boost your confidence and guarantee an A in your class!

Hi there! My name is Zainab and I'm a current senior biology major at Seton Hall University. I have been tutoring K-8 students since I was 16 years old in a variety of subjects including math, reading, writing, general sciences, and history. Additionally, I offer professional essay writing and editing services for high school and college students. I was granted the "Best Writer" title in high school in addition to the publication of several writing pieces on a community and national level at my undergraduate institution. My goal as a tutor is to first establish a solid relationship with students and understand their needs. From there, I adapt my teaching method and meet those goals through explaining the topic and simplifying concepts, practicing with guidance and independently, applying taught concepts, and finally reinforcing those skills up to mastery.
