About Patrick
My interest in programming began when I discovered how small logical ideas could evolve into powerful tools and applications. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Computer Engineering and later an M.Sc in Artificial Intelligence Systems, giving me insight into both foundational coding and modern innovation. Over the past 8 years, I have guided students through programming with structured support and motivating clarity.
I believe programming should feel empowering, not intimidating. My teaching approach emphasises understanding core logic, practising step by step, and building confidence through real projects rather than memorising patterns. I adapt lessons carefully so learners feel encouraged and capable at every stage.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with programming through AI exploration, software development projects, and continual learning of emerging tools. Teaching is fulfilling because I watch students grow from uncertainty into confident creators who can shape ideas into real digital solutions.

Programming becomes much easier when learners realise it is simply structured thinking turned into code. My lessons focus on building strong foundations in Python, Java, algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving through clear explanation and hands-on practice. I guide students to understand not just how to write programmes, but why each step works, so they develop lasting confidence and independence. Sessions are warm, supportive, and designed to make coding feel approachable.
Each lesson is personalised to the learner’s level. Beginners explore variables, loops, conditions, functions, and basic debugging with steady guidance. Intermediate students strengthen object-oriented design, modular programming, project building, and code readability skills through structured exercises. Advanced learners focus on algorithm optimisation, APIs, software engineering habits, interview preparation, and building professional-level applications. Feedback is detailed and supportive so learners grow consistently.
Programming lessons also develop resilience and creativity. Students learn to see errors as learning opportunities and gain confidence through problem-solving progress.
