I hold myself to an extremely high standard and care for every student that I work with. Teaching to me is not a job, but a passion and I will hold myself accountable and work and learn just as much as my students! My goal is to always listen, ask questions and support each student with their unique skill set. My number one motto in teaching is that we may not know how to do something YET, but together we will get there.

My lessons combine interactive online tools with a variety of engaging content (think learning games, high interest texts and multiple models/representations). My instruction will always be tailored to your child's specific needs. Have an IEP? I can base instruction on academic and social goals found in your child's learning document. Need further extensions or support with current homework? I can assess and adapt instruction based on your child's current understanding.
My lessons are for any K-12 student. I am extremely well rounded in my experience. Having taught in both elementary and high school, and having been on both the curriculum team for literacy and the gifted and talented support team, I have a wide variety of knowledge. I have taught for nearly a decade in my own classroom and most recently am teaching 9th and 10th graders Geometry, Algebra and Advance Algebra.
