About Tristan
I'm could be really forward, and present the cliche expectation of a piano tutor. Learnt since childhood. Classical music passion. Believes music doesn't require talent (which, to be honest, I agree with). However, the one thing nearly all teachers fail to do, is to remember, the most important thing of all, is to enjoy it. Being a conservative rigid drill sergeant is NOT my idealogy. I believe in making music as fun as possible, ignoring the conventional stereotypes of 'playing exactly as the composer intended' and aiming to make aspiring musicians truly appreciate music as an art.

- I generally am overly positive, and try to look into the psychology of a learner to get the best results.
- My lessons will usually be 20 to 30 minutes minimum but I often accidentally go overtime.
- I currently casually teach piano and can teach up to Certificate of Performance level.
- My lessons are for beginner to intermediate aspiring pianists who love classical music as much as I do.
- I am VERY well equipped for virtual lessons, with a professional microphone and webcam, and a Yamaha grand piano.
