About Megan
I am currently a Year 11 student at a selective school with a strong passion for mathematics and helping others learn. Through tutoring my younger brother four times a week, I have developed the ability to explain mathematical concepts in a clear, patient, and engaging way.

My teaching style focuses on helping students truly understand concepts rather than simply memorising procedures. I break down challenging topics into clear, manageable steps and encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson. Every session is adapted to the student's pace and learning needs, ensuring they feel supported while developing independent problem-solving skills.
Lessons are typically 30 minutes long and follow a structured format:
First 5 minutes: A quick revision of concepts covered in previous lessons to reinforce understanding and identify any areas that need clarification.
Next 15 minutes: Introduction and explanation of a new concept using clear examples and step-by-step instruction.
Final 10 minutes: Guided practice where students work through questions with my support, allowing them to apply what they have learned before we finish the lesson.
My lessons are suitable for Years 5–7 students of all abilities, whether they need extra support with schoolwork, want to improve their grades, or are looking to strengthen their mathematical foundations.
