About Joy
I am a dedicated guitar tutor with 8 years of experience, teaching students from high school, college, and adult learners. I have guided around 150–200 students, helping them grow in skill, confidence, and passion for music. My teaching style is patient, flexible, and personalised, combining structured guidance with encouragement and motivational support.
I celebrate every milestone, whether it is learning a new chord, performing in front of an audience, or composing original music. Some of my proudest moments include watching students overcome challenges and gain confidence, realising their potential. My mission is to inspire students to enjoy the process, develop their skills, and embrace music as a lifelong journey.

My guitar teaching philosophy is based on honesty, real-life learning, and flexibility. I use songs and daily playing examples to teach guitar techniques clearly. Lessons are designed to be practical, enjoyable, and stress-free.
I use case studies to show how guitarists solve common challenges. Problem-solving helps students build confidence and independence. Motivation keeps students consistent, positive, and focused.
Integrity guides my teaching, ensuring clear and honest feedback. My flexible approach allows lessons to be personalised for different goals and skill levels. Along with Guitar, I also teach basic music theory, rhythm training, and beginner performance skills.
