About Adaeze
Hi, I’m Adaeze — a civil engineering major at UC Merced with a strong academic foundation in STEM and a passion for teaching. Through the CalTeach program, I’ve gained hands-on experience teaching K–12 math, and I enjoy helping students connect concepts to real-world applications. My background in engineering, combined with leadership in clubs and volunteer tutoring, has shaped me into a reliable, patient, and adaptable tutor. I’m committed to supporting students at every level, building both their confidence and academic success.

As a civil engineering major with a minor in materials science, I bring a strong STEM background and a passion for teaching. I adapt my lessons to each student’s learning style, using real-world examples to make abstract concepts easier to understand. A typical session includes a quick review, interactive problem-solving, and tips for independent study. My experience through the CalTeach program has equipped me to support students from elementary to high school, especially in math, chemistry, algebra, and natural sciences.
