I am a civil engineer who uses math every day. I have also been a tutor since 2012, teaching a range of mathematical subjects for all ages. I have never received a bad review from a student and I don't plan to start now!
The best way to learn math is by practicing lots of practice problems! After our tutoring sessions, you'll learn how to:
1. Determine what the math problem is asking you to solve, especially in word problems.
2. Determine what given information is necessary to use to solve the problem
3. Recognize the steps you need to take to answer the problem correctly in the least amount of time
