About Renee
I’m Chinese but was born and raised in Malaysia. I am currently based in London. English and Mandarin are my native languages but I do speak a bit of Malay and Korean. I am a 2nd year Chemistry student currently studying in UCL. I also achieved 10A*s in my IGCSEs in 2017 and 4A*s in my A-Levels in 2019. I was awarded A*s in English, English literature, Chemistry, Physics and Maths from the CIE exam board.

I am passionate in teaching and treat my fellow students with respect and patience. The lesson will be structured around the area students wished to improve at and each lesson will be paced differently to suit the needs of each individual. Most things are flexible in terms of timings and topics so do communicate well with me! However, this course is only suitable if you already have the basics for Mandarin and are looking to gain a deeper understand or to practice having conversations!
