About James
Hi I'm James! I believe pupils should learn in a fun and stimulating environment. I would always try to find each's interest tailor the lesson for one's needs.
A bit about myself. I am a native Chinese speaker. I studied at a top state grammar school in London from where I gained 3As and B in A-levels in Maths, further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I have also an distinction in the advanced extension award for Maths. I have a BSc in Actuarial Science from LSE and a MSc in Computer Science from University of London.
I have taught English in Summer School in China and also been tutoring pupils in the UK for A-level exams. On top of that I also taught Business Chinese for an Austrian Bank here in London.
I tailor each lesson to my student's needs, level of knowledge and personality. For languages I try to put words into contexts, so they appreciate the real use and meaning behind rather than just mechanically memorization. For science subject, I would get them to grasp the abstract concepts in a simple way so that they can apply them in more complex settings. With exams approaching, I then focus on exam techniques to maximize their performances.

James is very patient and knowledgeable. He makes the language course much more interesting. He also has a good grasp of English. He tailors each lesson to the right level and content for me to help me to improve everyday.
