About Talia

I am a passionate Chess tutor with over three years of experience working with high school and college students. Throughout my teaching journey, I have had the privilege of helping more than 150 students improve their chess skills and develop a deeper appreciation for the game. My approach focuses on making chess both enjoyable and educational by breaking down essential strategies in openings, middlegames, and endgames. I believe that learning chess should be a fun and rewarding experience, so I strive to create lessons that engage students and keep their interest alive. Whether you are just starting out or looking to compete at higher levels, I tailor my teaching to fit your individual needs and pace, ensuring steady progress and confidence-building at every step.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work has been witnessing students reach competitive levels and significantly improve their performance in school and tournaments. I take pride in helping each student unlock their potential by simplifying complex concepts and providing clear, accessible explanations.
