About Sebastian
My name is Sebastian and I am a Chemistry student at Oxford University, I thoroughly enjoy my studies and am looking to pursue a PhD. I enjoy teaching students, developing their love for learning and helping them reach their academic goals. My chemistry studies have taught me hoe to convey information effectively which helps me to bring out the best in my students.

My lessons are catered to my student's exam boards in order to optimise their performance in their exams. My lessons put emphasis on student understanding so that they can apply their knowledge confidently. I start my lessons by explaining a concept, then I give my students questions taken from exam papers specific to their curriculum so they can apply their new knowledge with my support. I finish my lessons with the student explaining the concept back to me so I can be sure they have understood. I set homework after the lesson so my students can practise what they have learnt throughout the week. I mark the homework ahead of the lesson and then review the piece with the student in their following lesson. I find that this student-tailored lesson approach optimises student engagement and their exam results.
