About Daniel
I’m an undergraduate student majoring in chemistry with associate’s degrees in chemistry and biological science. I’ve been tutoring chemistry for over five years to high school and college students in classes such as AP chemistry, General Chemistry 1 and 2, Organic Chemistry 1 and 2, Chemistry of Life, and Biochemistry.

Having a passion in chemistry and mathematics, I like to begin every teaching session with ‘the big picture’ of how the learning objective relates to the real world. I firmly believe it’s very important to not only understand WHAT you’re learning but WHY you’re learning it. The intrinsic ‘purpose seeking’ nature of human curiosity propels us to desire a greater understanding of the world around us but when the purpose is entirely unclear, it can be rather difficult to find the motivation to continue seeking.
