About Georgia
My fascination with Chemistry began with curiosity about how substances interact, transform, and influence the world around us. I pursued a B.Sc in Chemistry, laying a foundation in core concepts, analytical techniques, and laboratory practices. To deepen my expertise, I completed an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, where I explored molecular interactions, reaction mechanisms, and the design of complex chemical systems. Over the past 10 years, I have taught learners across various levels, helping them gain clarity and confidence in understanding the subject.
I emphasize teaching methods that blend theory with practical applications. Each lesson is carefully tailored to the student’s learning style, incorporating visual aids, demonstrations, problem-solving exercises, and conceptual discussions. I encourage curiosity, questioning, and independent thinking to ensure students grasp the underlying principles of chemistry rather than relying on memorization alone.
Outside the classroom, I stay engaged with chemical research, laboratory work, and applied studies, which allows me to bring current developments into lessons and highlight real-world relevance. Teaching Chemistry is deeply fulfilling because I witness learners transition from uncertainty to mastery, building both competence and self-confidence. Supporting students in achieving their academic goals and nurturing their curiosity for the subject is the most rewarding aspect of my professional journey.

Chemistry can appear overwhelming when learners are asked to memorize reactions without understanding underlying principles. My lessons focus on helping students grasp the “why” behind chemical phenomena, enabling them to confidently solve problems and predict outcomes. I cover topics including atomic and molecular structure, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, acids and bases, kinetics, equilibrium, and chemical reactions. Lessons are designed to connect theory with tangible examples, demonstrating how chemistry operates in real-life scenarios, from industrial processes to biological systems.
Beginners receive detailed guidance on the structure of atoms, basic chemical bonding, periodic trends, and simple laboratory techniques, establishing a solid foundation. Intermediate learners focus on reaction mechanisms, stoichiometric calculations, solution chemistry, and equilibrium concepts, reinforced through stepwise problem-solving exercises. Advanced learners explore thermodynamic reasoning, kinetics, molecular interactions, and more complex problem sets designed to challenge understanding and analytical thinking. Each lesson blends explanation, demonstration, guided practice, and reflective discussion to build clarity and confidence.
Chemistry lessons also foster critical thinking, logical reasoning, and meticulous attention to detail. Students gradually gain mastery over complex calculations and experimental reasoning, which empowers them to approach challenges confidently. Many develop curiosity about how substances interact and transform, enjoying the satisfaction of understanding chemistry deeply rather than superficially. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students develop not only knowledge and skills but also intellectual confidence and a lifelong interest in chemical sciences.
