About Owen
My interest in chemistry began with a fascination for molecular interactions, reaction dynamics, and the patterns that govern chemical transformations. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Biochemistry, where I gained both theoretical expertise and laboratory experience. Over 10 years, I have taught students from beginners developing foundational knowledge to advanced learners preparing for research, competitive exams, and professional applications. My focus is on conceptual clarity, critical thinking, and fostering confidence in all students.
I teach with patience, structured guidance, and adaptability, using examples, stepwise explanations, and interactive exercises to make abstract concepts tangible and memorable. I encourage independent thinking, curiosity, and analytical problem-solving to foster both understanding and confidence. My lessons integrate practical applications to demonstrate chemistry’s relevance in real life.
Outside teaching, I engage in research, literature review, and experimental exploration to enrich lessons with real-world context. Observing students progress from uncertainty to mastery, develop problem-solving skills, and cultivate curiosity is deeply fulfilling.
